What You'll Master: Comedic Character Creation: Develop memorable and unique comedic characters. Comedic Structure: Learn how to deconstruct and utilize comedic timing and pacing. Script Analysis: Utilize current TV scripts ("sides") to conduct in-depth scene and script breakdown. History of Comedy: Gain context by exploring the evolution of television comedy. On-Camera Practice: Work with both Multi-Cam (sitcoms focused on family, friends, or workplace dynamics) and Single-Cam structures. Key Features: Weekly On-Camera Work: Students perform on camera every week. Personal Video Recordings: You will receive a copy of your weekly scene work for personal review and portfolio building.
